Our strategy
The Long Service Corporation Strategy 2025-2027 describes our vision, strategic outcomes, and what we aim to achieve.
2025-2027 strategy
The Long Service Corporation (LSC) is undertaking a significant period of transformation. We are implementing a two-year strategy that prepares the organisation for future growth while reinforcing our core purpose. During this period, LSC is focusing on the organisational changes needed to successfully introduce the Community Services Sector to the portable long service scheme. At the same time, we are continuing to enhance the systems, processes, and customer experience that support all current schemes.
Our vision
At LSC we directly contribute to the Department of Customer Service (DCS) vision of making NSW a safer, fairer, easier and more productive place to live and work. We are committed to ensuring that workers in NSW have access to their long service leave entitlements for service in their industry, while supporting industries to retain expertise.
Our schemes
LSC administers 3 schemes:
Our strategic outcomes and how we will achieve them
- Digital enablement – delivering simpler, more intuitive digital services and strengthening our internal systems to improve efficiency and insight.
- Fair and efficient processes – ensuring that accessing entitlements is easy, inclusive, and transparent for every customer.
- Industry education and regulation – partnering with our stakeholders to enhance understanding of the schemes and uphold compliance across sectors.
- Operational excellence – driving integrity, strong governance, and best practice financial management across all schemes.
- People at our core – supporting a skilled, safe and engaged workforce positioned to deliver exceptional service.
The two-year strategy lays the foundation for long-term sustainability, ensuring we are well placed to support more industries and workers through high-quality, modern and trusted portable long service leave schemes.
