Fraud and Corruption

Long Service Corporation NSW is a entity of the NSW Treasury Cluster

The Treasury Fraud and Corruption Control Framework is based on Standards Australia AS8001-2008 Fraud and Corruption Control and incorporates the ten attributes of fraud control contained in the NSW Auditor-General Better Practice Guide Fraud Control Improvement Kit.

The People and Performance Branch is responsible for the implementation of the Fraud and Corruption Control Framework, supported by the Audit and Risk Branch. This framework applies to all Treasury employees, including all entities in the Treasury Cluster except TCorp.
The implementation and effectiveness of strategies to promote ethical behaviour and the minimisation of corrupt conduct are monitored by the Audit and Risk Committee and the Treasury Investigations Committee.
